Jim

Jim's path to leading a men's Bible study began years before he ever expected it. After earning his degree in Behavioral Science through the Pre-Seminary program at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, he spent two years at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis pursuing a call to pastoral ministry. Along the way, God redirected his path, and he found himself with a calling to work in and with small businesses. In fact, he and his family owned and ran a small restaurant for several years, until he decided to go back to school for his MBA at Marquette University. That path eventually led him to his current role as Vice President of Credit at Advantage+ Financing, a small business equipment finance company.

Jim has led a men's group at his church for several years and is married with two adult daughters. Though his career took an unexpected turn, he's carried a passion for apologetics and Old Testament history with him the whole way. He brings that same enthusiasm to walking through The Chosen together—a show that has deepened his own understanding of Jesus and His ministry. Jim isn't here because he has all the answers; he's here because he loves diving deep into The Chosen and wants to grow alongside other men pursuing Christ.
